I have recently bought a brand new RX 570 after I had experienced similar problems with another RX 570 (ASUS ROG Strix). I assumed there was an internal problem with the first card, so I returned it. After purchasing a new card, the exact same problem occurred, which was a checkerboard artifact pattern, and then the game crashed. Sometimes it will reboot the entire PC. Here is a list of things I have already done to try and fix the problem:
Reinstalled drivers
Downgraded drivers
Installed through safe mode
Used DDU to uninstall and reinstalled through safe mode
Reseated the graphics card
Cleaned the entire PC
Tried different monitors
Reinstalled Windows 10
Booted off of brand new drive
Adjusted power settings through AMD global tuning
I haven't found a solution yet. The thing that really bugs me is that the same problem occurred on two separate graphics cards. I should also mention the PC is built out of a Dell Optiplex 7010 and it is running on legacy bios.
