A little background info, I just got RX6650XT and a Ryzen 5600, which worked perfectly fine for almost a week then I started fiddling around with OC using the adrenaline application but did not go anywhere near the voltage, just fan speed and GPU tuning. And I was trying new settings and benchmark and every time the app would crash I'd adjust my settings to find the balance between performance and stability, and this all worked fine until the game I was playing (Hogwarts Legacy) and adrenaline crashed and then would crash again every time I try to launch.
I tried different games like FarCry 6, Cyberpunk, Runescape but they would all crash before even getting to the menu. Moreover, while trying to troubleshoot I found that every time I go to the Record & Stream tab in adrenaline, the screen would flicker and adrenaline would yet again crash and I'd get the "AMD software has detected a driver timeout" error, which is the same one I get when my games crash.
Furthermore, I tried monitoring my temperatures and such but no abnormal numbers were observed.
These are the solutions I've tried:
-Took CMos battery out of MB for 5 mins
-Update Bios
-Update Chip-set driver
-Use DDU and reinstall the driver/install and earlier version of the driver
-Tried the MPO fix
-Turn off hardware acceleration in browser
-Disable MSI afterburner
-Clear Shaders Cache
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am on the verge of refunding my GPU, I've tried everything I found.
