How to select the Displayport output for sound

Hello community!

I have a RX 7800 XT on which 2 display ports are used for my monitors, one of which has built-in speakers.

When I select the card for sound output, it doesnt stream anything.

Both monitors drivers are up to date, my sound enabled monitor's volume is at 100, not muted.

How can I select which displayport should output sound?

It worked fine when I was using my old RX590.

Cheers

Hey Khaim! I fixed my issue!

Here's what I did:

1- I use the AMD clean up tool to remove all AMD drivers from my computer (it reboots the computer)

2- While rebooting, I entered my BIOS to disable the onboard HD Audio option

3- Let the tool remove the old drivers, then reboot

4- Run Adrenaline again for new drivers

5- Reboot one last time and voila!

Hi, I have the exact same issue with a similar upgrade.
My monitor sound stopped working after I changed from RX 570 to my RX 7800 XT: everything also updated, no troubleshoot issues detected or anything.
I figured I'd type in here and see if someone finds the solution.
