According to DisplayConnector tech sheet on AMD site one displayport should support up to 4 screens. But I would like a confirmation that it will work before buying anything.

How many displays does this card support?

The document you mentioned is a general info sheet on DisplayPort and has nothing to do with W6400 capabilities.

Number of supported displays depends on many factors, like resolution, refresh rate, DSC, color depth, cable, adapter, GPU display output type and version and also display engine.

W6400 display engine can support 2x displays

So, daisy-chaining 2 displays on each DP output is not possible?

We tried that : windows recognizes 4 monitors connected, but only 2 are active.

W6400 has only 2x display engines => hence only 2x monitors can be run from each W6400 GPU
