Hi. I've recently built a new Z490 system but unfortunately it randomly freezes and hangs every 1-2 hours and it's practically unusable right now. Suddenly, first window/application stops answering and after 1-2 seconds mouse doesn't move either. Whole system locks down and it stays like that untill I force to shutdown with power button.
At first I thought it could be memory related but after 8 hours of memtest figured that it's not. So opened the MEMORY.DMP file with WinDbg gave me VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (116). Also, same freezes/hangs happens on hackintosh.
I can provide any other info if needed. Hope someone can help.

Hello,
same problem here:
ASUS Z490 Formula
Intel 10700K
MSI Gaming X RX 5700
VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (116)
Tested the two available drivers from AMD, same result.
If I delete the AMD grapic drivers, no bluescreen.
I have also a X570 Board with Ryzen 3600, no problem with that system (same PSU, same RAM, same SSD).
I have same issus, no driver no freezing. I have intel cpu.
I have the same issue. The identical MEMRY.DMP text you posted. It has only crashed while playing Civ6. DX11 or DX12, doesn't matter. Seems to be doing it more with the latest Civ6 update, but it doesn't happen consistently enough for me to recreate the issue on purpose. Sometimes the game with just hang, and I have to force quit, sometimes it will crash straight to desktop(no warnings), sometimes in will crash to blank screen and PC will restart.(basically BSOD). Using the latest AMD driver, everything default.
5600 XT, X570, Ryzen 3700x
I have a same problem:
Both of Windows OS and Hackintosh MacOS 10.15.6
