Freesync not supported

Hey everyone, yesterday bought laptop asus tuf gaming fx705dy, In the AMD Radeon Software Display settings, i cannot turn on freesync as it says 'not supported', even though it's one of the features of the laptop.

tip.
On my computer freesync also dident work by default.

I made it work by going into the monitors menu via the push buttons on the monitor and there i select freesync.
After i did that i could activate it in the radeon software.

Also pro tip.. if you cannot use freesync at example 144 hz.. then use your Display port cable instead 
( cables are not just cables some can transfer allot of data/signal others cannot as much ect.  )
