Hello to all,
i tried to setup my 3 identical TV's to one big screen for playing racing games.
My problem is, that theese TV have a nativ a UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160 (60 Hz) and a max. resolution of 4096 x 2160 (24 Hz).
When i setup Eyfinity it always uses that max resolution. That is not optimal because at max resolution the screen is unsharp and ist flickering at 24Hz.
Is it possible to advice Eyefinity to use a lower resolution for a better picture?
My Hardware:
Windows 11 PC
MSI MPG B550 GAMING PLUS
AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
TV:
Hisense 50AE7000F
I hope somone can help me in this issue?
If more info about my System is needed, let me know.
Regards
Gerd
Am I really the only one with this problem?
At the moment I'm trying to create a Monitor.INF to limit the resolution.
After some tries the new Monitor.INF is installed, but Exefinity is ignoring the Infos and is running in 4K instead of UHD
Here is AMD on how to configure Eyefinity: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/dh-014#faq-AMD-Eyefinity-Multi-Display-Options
EDIT: If the above doesn't direct you in helping fixing your issue then open a AMD Service Request from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/contact-email-form
Hello elstaci,
thank you for your answerand help, but this info is not actual.
In this Link: Adrenalin Edition 18.9.1.
Actual: Adrenalin 21.11.3
I think Eyefinity is switched out to Eyefinity Pro?
But there i can't find there something about different resolutions.
I think will request direct to AMD Service
Okay, I thought maybe it might have some information that will help your issue.
But I did find AMD Eyefinity for Professionals which shows the different Resolutions on Multi-Displays using Professional GPU card. This might explain why you are getting the Resolution issue with your Consumer GPU card: https://www.amd.com/en/technologies/eyefinity-professionals
Here is a chart from the above website:
Even though the above chart concerns Professional GPU card it might also apply to your Consumer GPU Card indirectly.
In my case, it seems that Eyefinity is using an unsupported resolution (4096 x 2160)?
The resolution stated (3840 x 2160) is the resolution I need.
Don't know why Eyefinity always uses the 4096 x 2160 ??
But I was able to solve another problem.
That Eyefinity always uses 24 Hz was due to the setting of one of the three tv's.
There was a mode Enhanced HDMI and that was switched off.
Now it runns at 60 Hz
