Does the Radeon RX 550 support DP++ or Dual Mode output?

I'm hoping to purchase a cheap nonactive DP to HDMI adapter, and from my understanding this will only work if the DP source port supports Dual Mode output or otherwise known as DP++. Is this correct?

Searching the net has been frustrating as it seems know one really list or mentions the DP++ spec.

According to TechPowerUp concerning the RX 550 GPU card video output ports:

Outputs

1x DVI
1x HDMI 2.0b
1x DisplayPort 1.4a

Found this old previous AMD Thread where Black Zion mentions that the RX 500 Series should have DP++ since the RX 400 Series GPU card do. But to verify with the GPU card's manufacturer: https://community.amd.com/t5/graphics-cards/does-the-rx560-support-dp/m-p/210743

NOTE: If at worse you will need a "ACTIVE" DP to XXXX Converter if your GPU card's DP isn't DP++.
