Can an RX580 be used to send Dolby Vision UHD content via HDMI to a display? If so, what settings?
Testing with Mass Effect Andromeda, HDR10 works fine but Dolby Vision does not work (switches to SDR when I try)
Here is what I am using:
- Sapphire Pulse RX580 4Gb
- HDMI 2.1 cable
- LG 49nano866
Driver settings (used for Mass Effect Andromeda):
- 1080p 59.940hz
- YCBCR 4:2:2 Full
- 12 bit color depth
Any suggestions on what needs to be changed? Additional software requirements? Anything relevant I am ignorant of?
TV has no trouble with Dolby Vision content streamed from native apps or external storage connected via USB.
