There are so many types of features, timings, etc, that buying a new PC for the first time may not be efficient without choosing a decent DDR kit.
Is there an exhaustive list of ranking per vendor, per chip manufacturer, or per MHz? Or per dimms per channel / rankness?
For example, do we have a list that sorts all 6400MHz 32GB dual channnel RAMs on their performances for Zen4 CPUs? Or can we simply guess the performance just by CL timing alone?
Choosing a CPU is relatively easier:
- gaming max: 7800x3d
- productivity max: 7950x
- gaming & productivity max: 7950x3d & disable 1 ccd when gaming or use lassoo
- sff gaming / productivity: 7900
- productivity mainstream: 7900x
- productivity & gaming mainstream: 7900x3d
- budget 7700x
- budget sff 7700
- etc
But RAM has so many options & incompatibility issues for CPU or mobo.
