Would somebody more knowledgeable or from AMD know why i'm getting a WHEA error 18 "cache hierarchy error"( i know it's a error cause of low cpu voltage etc) after I change my second monitors refresh rate to 60hz and manage to get the gpus memory clock dropped from 2487MHz, thus reducing the idle power draw. Every crash has happened on idle/desktop or light usage aka internet browsing or youtube.
Like i said I'm using two 1440p monitors which are rated 144hz each. The following occurs when i lower the second ones refresh rate to 60hz with VRR enabled and keep my main one 144hz also VRR enabled. I have tried with SAM on/off and CO is set to 0, gpu isn't overclocked makes no difference.
My specs are: 5800x3d, rx 7900 xtx, x570 aorus ultra, 32gb 3200MHz ddr4, xlr8 cs3030 1tb, seasonic focus gx-750 and I'm using win11. Is this somehow caused by software or is it hardware related, do i have to begin rma? I'm using gigabytes f37e bios and latest gpu/chipset drivers.
Edit: forgot to add, when the memory clocks are stuck 2487MHz and the card is drawing 90+w the system is rock solid 24/7, haven't had a single problem even with -30 CO and overclocking the gpu.
