Recently received an HP laptop running Windows 10. Internal display was black but seconary display using HDMI connection is fine. I reloaded BIOS and graphics drivers from HP. Restored Windows 10 to original status with no change. I then replaced the display screen with no improvement. I than downloaded drivers directly from AMD using their auto detect process. Still no change. Neither Windows Device Manager nor AMD Catalyst software can detect the internal display. I get a Code 45 hardware device not connected to computer. Is the motherborad bad. Could it be a driver or BIOS problem? I have searched online extensively. Any solutions come to mind?
