Hey there,

I have a laptop that advertises as a AMD 2700 (desktop processor) and a Vega 56 8GB GPU.

I've confirmed the process is correct, however, is there a way I can confirm the GPU is a Vega 56?

Note that it says Radeon RX Vega, with no 56 anywhere to be found.

Is there somewhere else I can confirm it is in fact a Vega 56?

I just want to confirm it has a Vega 56 for peace of mind.  Anybody know how I can do this?

Use GPU-Z.  Although the Hardware ID can be manipulated in the vBIOS, I don't expect that from a legitimate laptop manufacturer.

Using GPU-Z as mack0y suggests, you can take a look at the specs of the card, that's probably the most accurate way to identify it.
Vega 56 should show 3584 unified shading units, 224 TMUs, and 64 ROPs
