Greetings AMD community,
I would like to apologize for the big post but I am losing my mind and I am desperate for help, everything helps!
I have huge performance issues in all of my games. My GPU UTIL is not more than 50%-60%. The first few days that I first booted the system everything was alright, good performances in general; In addition, Call of Duty Modern Warfare ii was running on more than 90% of GPU UTIL and the GPU CLK were more than 2400MHz. But, after approximately 3-10 days the performance on all of my games have significantly dropped below 50%-60% of GPU UTIL.
Please note that when I am using Furmark - It is an OPENGL Benchmark and a GPU Stress Test - my performance is:
- GPU UTIL 96%
- GPU CLK 2100+ MHz
- GPU PWR 160W
- GPU CUR TEMP 62 Celsius / 143.6 Fahrenheit
- VRAM CLK 2000+ MHz
All the games that have performance issues are listed below:
- Call of Duty Modern Warfare ii
- League of Legends
- High on Life
- Friday the 13th: The game
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Grand Theft Auto Online
- Unturned
Please note that I have no more games currently installed but while in the beginning all the games were completely fine and by that I mean Call of Duty Modern Warfare ii had my GPU Utilization above 90%, GPU CLK at 2400MHz+ it currently cannot surpass more than 50%-60% of GPU Utilization. It does this on every single game listed above, my utilization is not at top performance.
Below you will find my PC specs.
- CPU: Intel Core i5-11400f
- GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX 6700 10GB
- RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB DDR4
- MOBO: AsRock H510M-HVS
- SSD: Samsung 870 Evo SSD 1TB
- PowerSupply: Be Quiet System Power 9 700W 80 Plus Bronze
I am running only one Monitor which is Asus VZ229HE at 60Hz, I know I need at least 144Hz to completely use my GPU but it is not for my budget right now.
Everything that I tried fixing the issue.
- Completely Format the PC.
- Factory resetting the GPU Drivers
- Downgrading the GPU Drivers
- Deleting all of AMD Drivers and downloading them again only to install them as drivers and not with adrenaline
- Updated BIOS to latest version and enabling Resizable BAR
- Turned off Discord Hardware Accelerator
- Deleting DirectX Shader Cache
- Changing the pin cables from the PSU
- Tried locking the FPS
- Checked the display properties to ensure I run on the correct refresh rate
- AMD FreeSync is OFF
I was running Call of Duty Modern Warfare ii at approximately 120-130 FPS and my GPU was performing at best. Same goes for High on Life. Now, although Call of Duty is playable it sure it not performing as it used to.
Also, I am not using programs like Afterburner etc.
Please if someone can help me, I would gladly appreciate it. I am literally losing my mind because I cannot seem to find what it the problem. I will also list some threads that claim to have the same problem as me.
