Hello, 

I have a Cooler Master Tempest GP27Q monitor and a 7900 XT graphics card. Everyone online says that my monitor is compatible with AMD Free Sync, but it listed as Not Supported in the AMD software. 

I'm currently using an HDMI cable to connect the computer to the monitor. Will changing that to a DPI cable fix that issue or is this another problem?

You probably need to enable in the on screen settings in thr monitor itself. That's how it worked on an LG monitor I recently picked up. Then the option showed up in Radeon software.
