Hi,
I recently purchased an AMD 570 4gb ASUS expedition OC edition. I've noticed that when I often leave my PC on and return after a few hours, my monitor shows static as it would with a broken or loose DVI cable. It's simple to fix, either by turning my monitor off and on again or by unplugging and re plugging in the DVI cable.
I'm just wondering as to the cause of this issue and whether there are any easy fixes as it is a bit of a pain to have to do this every time I come back to my PC.
Basic info:
- Using DVI connection from graphics card
- Monitor has only DVI input
- This issue never occurs when the PC is in use
- Did not occur before installing new card
