Adding a second graphics cards

Hi. I currently have a AMD Radeon RX 550 video card. When trying to record gaming, on certain games (Rainbow Siege), my machine crashes. While doing some trouble shooting, i have deduced that the Graphics RAM is getting tapped out (the cause of my crashing). I am debating over getting a second card to supplement or if just upgrading is better. I am also budget conscious. My motherboard is a Gigabite GA-AX370-Gaming AM4 ATX w/Intel Lan, 2PCIe x16, 3 PCIe x1, 8 SATA3, 1 M.2 SATA/PCIe. (I have a standard 600 watt power supply).

Any advice, hints or tips are appreciated.

Thx.

First off "standard 600 watt power supply" is completely meaningless, as there are a wide range of 600w PSUs from high end 600w units to backstreet Chinese Firecrackers which are 300w units with a 600w badge, so you need to post your make and model.

As for your GPU, you're far better off upgrading to an RX 580 or GTX 1660, as the RX 550 is not a gaming card, it is severe limited in power and memory bandwidth, and Crossfire/MultiGPU has its own set of issues.
