Driver version: 23.3.2
Chronic stuttering with massive dips into the 20-30 fps for half a second in seemingly most DX11 games. It is getting to the point that it is so unpleasant it is about unplayable. Games I have had time to test fairly well with in game options and driver tuning, Overwatch 2/Final Fantasy XIV. RE4 Remake seems it might have it happen but to a much lesser degree however I know that it has some stutters while loading new areas so it could very well be attributed to that. As a point of comparison though RE4-R is a dream to play at 1400p max settings 120 fps (in game lock) where as an esports game and a mmo made 10 years ago has problems.
To add another bug in the drivers to the list, I've also seen with every single game I have play, drivers crash at some point if I connect and use my second monitor (1080p/60hz). All I have to do is click on something on the second monitor such as steam, discord, browser, word documents.. It doesn't happen right away but it always will at some point. In this instance FFXIV would always crash giving a DirectX error: 11000002.
To list a few of the things I've tried, resetting of windows, DDU+clean install of drivers, turning off all AMD specific tech (anti-lag/sharpening), turning off HDCP, disabling ULPS, making the card only downclock to 1500mhz, frame rate limiting through AMD drivers, Rivatuner, and built in game limiters and more but at this point it is either the card (which I doubt) or the drivers.
None of these performance issues were not seen with my old 3060 12Gb just as a reference. If I may show my frustrations a little bit, it is the reason why people still say AMD drivers are bad because at this moment (after not having an AMD card for 5+ years) they are.
Up to date chipset and every other driver I could google and get my hands on.
