6950 XT System Freezing Randomly or When Alt Tabbing

Hey, so I just built this system a few months or so back.  Its a Ryzen 5 5600, 6950xt GPU, 32g RAM, 1000 Watt PSU, and a 4th gen NVME SSD.

My issues started around the time D4 launched their server stress test.  At first I thought it was D4, but that is not the case.  There are two types of freezing I am experiencing.

A freeze where I can ALT + TAB out and in to correct it. (Soft Freeze?)

A freeze where I have to physically turn the system off. (Hard Freeze?)

In D4, it will hard and soft freeze.  All other games it will soft freeze.  I have no idea why this is happening.

I think I have it figured out.  It turns out the audio from either AMD or Realtek is causing this issue.  I have three sound devices disabled.  AMD High definition audio device, AMD Streaming audio device, and Realtek(R) Audio.  I will be using my headset for audio until I can narrow it down to what device(s) are the culprit.

Less than an hour later, another hard freeze.  If I cant get this issue resolved what can I do?

It's unfortunate to hear about the freezing issues you're facing. Have you checked for driver updates and monitored system temperatures during gameplay?

Yes, Drivers are up to date for everything. As well as win 11.  Temps are hottest for the GPU at 65-70 under its highest load of Diablo 4.  One interesting thing to note is that it does a soft freeze when the GPU fans arent even spinning (I assume that means the GPU is barely being used)
