Hi, have lots of issues with fresh boot from WORKING FINE machine and BLACK SCREEN, then driver seems to revert to MS default (if lucky), if NOT then I can do/see NOTHING. I see TONS of issues with this; is there any known working solution before I send this thing back??
reinstalled Windows 11, did NOT install AMD drivers (let Windows do it), no issues so far.
WHAT is wrong with AMD drivers now??
Disabling MPO can get rid of blackscreens but if you had blackscreen due gpu driver timeout or gpu driver freeze you instead freeze on an image so disabling MPO may fix blackscreen but then you may freeze instead you can give it a try but disabling MPO it self is't fixing everything but may make desktop experience better, but make games still crash freeze etc.
Nvidia has page for disabling MPO and enabling it again, you can google it and try it out, but i would not leave it off permanently 22.11.2 which is currently recommended is more stable but not stable enough probably will fix your issues as well if never heard anyone report blackscreen upon boot but nothing surprises me anymore these days, good luck we all have driver issues for months now, hopefully AMD finally admit their issues as what is more painful is the fact they ignore it not the fact its an issue, im well aware fixing stuff like this takes time.
thanks I did that on previous installation and it fixed nothing
OK, I used Macrium to backup, reinstalled latest AMD full install, disabled MPO, going to test until it breaks (which I believe it still will eventually)
