New PC built by PC Specialist. Issue here... Once per day, when the PC is turned on for the 1st time. It won't boot and I get no signal.

I have to power down the system and then either

2nd boot will post

Or

2nd boot will power itself off and 3rd boot will post.

After that it's fine for the rest of the day going through multiple restarts as proof.

I think it's the card and I've seen other reports of people having these similar issues on boot etc

Any thoughts? Anything it should check? Fast Boot is off in BIOS and OS etc

First of are you using the latest bios on your board?

Also if your board has a uefi and legacy both mode in one and you are using just one are the other, switch to that and see if that helps.

Yes to latest BIOS version. 1st thing I checked when I got the PC 3 weeks ago

I will also try that as well with UEFI... But I find it odd that it only occurs during 1st boot.

I agree it is a very odd situation. However very common to need to update the bios or change settings with a new card. Easy to try.

Good Luck!
