The spec sheet isn't completely clear how the W600 GPU handles MST (DisplayPort passthrough) - If it can run 6x 4K displays per card, can it run 24 1080P displays (6 displays connected to the GPU, each with 3 daisy-chained off each connected display to make a 4K output per connector)? Rendering would occur on separate card, this is just for output.
It says this on the spec sheet but its still not completely clear:
1 AMD Eyefinity technology supports up to six DisplayPort™ monitors on an enabled graphics card. Supported display quantity, type and resolution vary by model and board design; confirm specifications with manufacturer before purchase. To enable more than two displays, or multiple displays from a single output, additional hardware such as DisplayPort-ready monitors or DisplayPort 1.2 MST-enabled hubs may be required. Maximum two active adapters supported.
