here is the version he installed yesterday  Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. - Display - 31.0.12027.2005   this has happened to me two or three times in Windows 11 updates it installs a micro device driver over my amd driver I can't do anything I have to reinstall everything yet my version is the most recent in addition it is installed by itself

Use gpedit and stop WU driver updates.

I found this solution really simple to understand I think it works hopefully lol    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-update-is-offering-me-an-update-which-...         I hide the update and it does not download it
