Windows 10 update crashes with AMD Radeon Driver HD8670M

Hi ...,
I changed the Windows operating system on a notebook from version 1806 to 1906 using "Media Creation Tool". The upgrade process got stuck at 47%. After I evaluated the log file an error message was displayed in which the video driver AMD Radeon HD8670M was marked as faulty. Because of this message, I deleted the video driver. A "Microsoft Basic Graphics Driver" was installed. The upgrade then went through without an Error.
Afterwards, I downloaded and tested all the drivers for my graphics card from the AMD download page. For all drivers, my notebook crashed after starting. I have not found a suitable NVIDIA Driver for my Notebook.

This is a AMD forum...not Nvidia. Ask them > https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/discover/

Hi kingfish,

I have a graphic unit AMD Radeon HD8670M. This is AMD and not NVIDIA. The Driver for the graphic unit I have downloaded is at the AMD Site.
