jumped the gun to quick...sort of...

I found a new BIOS version for my MB on Asus site, fTPM was a "new" feature/support, so i installed it and have not seen the error yet.

Hi, I had the same error on my Windows 11 machine with Ryzen 5 3600 & AsRock X570 Phantom Gaming.

My PC started to crash multiple times a day after I installed and started to play MS Flight Simulator for some reason, never happened before

Upgrading the BIOS to the latest version fixed this incredibly annoying issue for me too. Thanks for sharing your solution!

Actually, I celebrated the victory too soon - the PC just crashed again with this SCEP error...

That is not causing the crash, if you check the timeline on the entry you see it is only on a startup of pc.

My PC- Ryzen 5 5600x, B550 aorus pro ac, Hyper 212 black, 2 x 16gb F4-3600c16dgtzn kit, NM790 2TB, Nitro+RX6900XT, RM850, Win.10 Pro., LC27G55T.

This error might not be the immediate cause of the crash, but all four of us on this thread are getting it, and we're all having PC crashes. So, it’s pretty likely the error is connected to the crashes.

I get two of these errors on every boot, but my PC is not having any crashes.  In my case it is the certificate enrollment that is failing.  "amd-keyid. . .does not exist"

I have just found this thread. I have the same error in event viewer and I am experiencing the same crashes.
There was another thread going on with the issue:
https://community.amd.com/t5/processors/failed-to-initialize-scep-certificationregistration/td-p/495...

It recommended chipset update. Did not solve it for me unfortunately.
Is there anyone still experiencing this?

Yes I am having this issue and good lord have I been fighting it. I have done every known thing on this earth to try and fix it and I still can't figure it out. It's really a pain too because I fixed this before and I just forgot how to. All I remember is it's an extremely difficult and time consuming fix. I've been at it currently for about 87hours in total and I feel further away from the solution than I did at the start.

Since no one else has replied yet I might as well say this.

I believe the last time I fixed this issue which was two years ago in 2022 I did so by creating a completely new SCEP Certificate however I have completely forgotten how to do that and since I don't do it every day I'm going to have to learn it from scratch again. I'm guessing my Certificate expired or became corrupt somehow and that's why I'm getting these issues again. It could also be because of the new windows 23H2 update however going back to 22H2 doesn't fix anything.

Believe me everyone that reads this. There is no simple fix. Here are the things I've already done that don't work:

- Update BIOS

- Disable TPM

- Enable Secure Boot

- Update Windows

- Update GPU Driver

- Update Chip set Driver

- Update CPU Driver

- Update Audio Driver

- Update Network Driver

- Change RAM

- Change CPU

- Change GPU

- Change Motherboard

- Change Operating Drive

- Full MemTest86 exam

- Check Thermals

- Reset Cooling Configuration

- Run the Verifier Command

- Run Safe mode

- Update TPM

- Remove TPM

- Check Power Cables

- PSU Test

- USB Test

- BIOS Flashback

And so much more

The error we are all getting is a ERROR_SYSTEM_DIED which is a critical fault during the processing of your computer. No one on the internet seems to know what's causing it. Infact no computer shop that I've been to also knows what the problem is. And Microsoft themselves say they don't know what the problem is. It's most likely that your system will be dead for a while until a fix has been made.

If any of your systems are like mine then you'll know that it runs perfectly 60% of the time on idle but when you start to give it something like a game or a stress test it then causes the BSOD.

Unfortunately I don't know of any fix yet but I really do hope I find one as I am not spending £4000 on a new PC when I know none of the components are broken. Especially considering I just got a brand new 4070Ti

Any luck on this, just started whilst playing MSFS, haven’t had the issue before, my CPU had a AutoOC that was done by Ryzen master so I reverted it, but it still crashes. This is the last error message before the crash

Still having the same error.. its really annoying..

i can play fortnite.. but if i run a game like Horizon Forbidden West / Diablo or Sniper Elite.. it freeze.. black screen (still hear the music in the back  thru my headphones) but i need a hard reset..

Thought it was my PSU.. (maybe a problem with my 3080 on spike moments) but nothing.

I think it really has something to do with mobo (x570 PRro Aorus & Amd 5800x in combination with Gigabyte 3080) ..

think the only solution is to wait for the 5000 series .. Nvidia and going back to Intel.
