SSD detected as Unknown Device

I have setup a new PC with primary hard drive M.2 SSD and secundary Sata drive.

I'm having issues while the Bios/system doesn't detect this second SSD that is connected to Sata port.

After some changes on Bios and also updated Chipset driver I can see it on the drives but as "unknown device" and I'm not able to initilize the drive on Drive Management (error bellow).

I have also connected this SSD drive with USB adaptador and changed partition from MBR > GPT but problem persists.

It seems a problem with Sata Driver. Should I install any specific driver?

Thanks!

Hello everyone! I bought SSD SFYRD 2tb Kingston fury renegate on 08/26/2024 for a new Lenovo thinkbook G16+ AHP laptop, Rayzen 8845H, 32Gb DDR5, SSD 1TB, there is a second slot for SSD, it was planned to use it for data as an auxiliary one. A copper radiator was glued to the disk and installed in the laptop, but after a while it falls off, freezes, does not pass write tests in crystalmark, and shows unrealistic numbers for read speed, also does not enter the proprietary Kingston ssd manager utility, I entered it once and that's it. I handed it over under warranty, they checked everything supposedly well. I picked it up, nothing had changed, the firmware was 31.6, I wanted to flash the proprietary KSM utility to 31.7, but I could not run the utility. I returned it, made all the screenshots and records, yesterday they replaced it with a new one, firmware 31.7 out of the box, but nothing has changed, everything is the same. I changed it between slots, it did not help, I installed a second Hynix SSD, everything worked in the second slot. Today I installed 1 TB Samsung 980, everything works fine, the problem is only with the purchased SSD SFYRD 2tb Kingston Fury Renegate, possibly a defective batch. I would never have thought that there could be problems with this brand. I updated the laptop to the latest BIOS NLCN33WW, it did not help! By the way, I noticed one pleasant nuance when I bought it, the native Umis on 1TB, showed a result of 3500 MB / s, after updating the BIOS to BIOS version NLCN31WW, it began to show about 7000 MB / s, now I updated it again to NLCN33WW, nothing helped. Maybe there are some thoughts, the disk, by the way, is made in China.

I don't have another device to plug it into and my mb only has 2 m.2 slot and the other is taken. Thing is samsung magician detects it, my bios sees it and my pc says it's there, but it also shows it as a unknown device. Also when I try to make a volume I'm met with "Disk managment console view is not up to date" and the volume that was "created" is seen as another unknown device

Please post your PC information especially the Make & Model of your Motherboard, CPU, SSDs, and GPU installed plus Windows and AMD Driver versions installed.

Also post all SATA devices connected to your Motherboard.

It is possible the M.2 slot is in conflict with a SATA port on your Motherboard. need to look at your Motherboard's Specs.

Doesn't the SSD that is not being recognize have a Manufacturer's Driver to install?

Also does the SSD Manufacturer SSD APP show anything?
