whenever i update my drivers for my rx 6700 xt i always have these green squares in games on the top left corner which make my resolution crap when i move my mouse i want to know how to remove this and if i have to have the software to do this as i dont install the software when updating only the drivers.

Just taking a stab at this: do you have Radeon Boost turned on in Adrenalin (Settings > Graphics > Radeon Boost)? I've heard if it's on, it'll add a notification of green dots in the upper left. Plus, your description of a resolution change with movement sort of sound like Boost Behavior.
