As far as I am aware no AMD Software that Overclocks are not supported in laptops since Laptop have been engineered to work under specific range of temperatures and power.
Overclocking or under-clocking can affect those laptop parameters.

I'm OK with this answer, but AMD need to be smarter about this.
Have the installer check the CPU in the machine BEFORE going ahead with the installation, don't just show an error message after installing saying that the software is not compatible.
