RX 6700 XT does not recognize any HDMI device as audio device

Hi Everyone,

I've just gotten a brand new system with a Radeon RX 6700 XT card on a Gigabyte B550M DS3H rev 1.4 motherboard. The 2 monitors that are connected with Displayport cables are working fine and the LG TV is also recognized as a screen and recognized as a LG TV in device manager.

When I connect the TV to my old system (with the same cables and everything) the TV is recognized without problems, and works. On the new system I've also tried 3 different HDMI cables that all work fine on the old system. Old system is windows 10, new system is windows 11.

The problem is I can't set the TV as an audio device on the new system. It does not appear in the list of devices (not used or disabled are shown). The list of audio devices includes my logitec headset, the Realtek audio device of the motherboard, both monitors and 4 (?!) not connected "AMD High Definition Audio Device" as outputs.

If I select one of the AMD hD audio devices, properties and events tab it reads:
"Device HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_1002&DEV_AA01&SUBSYS_00AA0100&REV_1008\7&213dc0e4&0&0001 requires further installation."

I've to use the AMD cleanup tool, turn of the onboard sound in BIOS, and reinstall the AMD drivers, and enable onboard sound again, but that didn't work. I've updated the BIOS, uninstalled the Realtek and tried different audio drivers. Tried multiple AMD drivers, also old ones, but no luck so far.

Any help is appreciated!
