Two days ago my system crashed playing Fortnite. Up to then it ran 120FPS stable in High settings. Whatever I try it now seems stuck at very low and wildly varying FPS. Is this graphics controller broken?

I can inform the gang a corrupted PC BIOS caused this trouble. Possibly a brown-out of the mains caused my system to hang and a simple "Load optimized defaults" did the trick. It ran rock stable for the last six months, but hey, I'm enjoying a fresh OS install now
My previous frame time was 8ms !
What does the "metrics" dashboard in Adrenaline show for in-game FPS? The game should have the ability to show real-time FPS, or download RIVA TUNER. The measurement you posted is comprehensive, and not measuring just in-game FPS.
