Good day to all. Sorry, but I would like to ask. I have problems with my video card overheating. During even the simplest game, the video card can heat up to 76-82 degrees, and coolers can spin up to 3500-3600 rpm. I tried reducing the load via AMD undervolt. On older versions of the driver, the video card works more or less normally, but it still freezes, after which I reboot and AMD Wattman resets the settings. With new versions of the driver it’s simply terrible, not only does undervolting not work at any voltage. Also, the video card heats up from 80-86. I just don’t know what to do, maybe you had the same thing, or do you know special undervolt settings?
My PC:
Motherboard: ASUS TUF B450-PLUS GAMING
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X OEM
RAM: Kingston HyperX FURY Black [HX432C16FB3K2/16] 16 GB
Power supply: DEEPCOOL DQ750ST [DP-GD-DQ750ST]
SSD: Samsung 870 QVO [MZ-77Q1T0BW]
CPU cooler: JONSBO CR-1000
On image shows the undervolt settings

So far I have managed to solve the problem (probably) by installing the pro version, not adrenaline. But I downloaded MSI afterburner, and somehow I’ll try to configure the undervolt using it.
Use msi afterburner. Install minimum adrenalin. Also lower the core clock. I set mine (sapphire rx570) at 1106mhz core with 925mv.(minimum effective core voltage is the vram volt).
When you undervolt always set power limit at max.
I don't even know much about AMD Undervolt. And even more so in MSI afterburner, but I also don’t understand how to select the voltage. Because in amd Adrenaline, with any manipulation, the computer freezes in any case. It happens that I just check the box in advanced management and click confirm, after a minute all the MHz columns show 300, and the computer freezes. I just have no idea why everything works fine for everyone but not for me.
You are not only you. Its a known bug in the last 3 drivers. The pc freezing if you change anything in gpu tuning inside adrenalin.
In Afterburner press curve editor and on top is the core frequency and bottom the volt.
Press apply and then the floppy icon to save the profile in the right list with 1-5 slots. Last click the apply at startup icon on top right.
I'll try it and post the result. But anyway, why does undervolt work fine for everyone, but only works for me with older versions? And then, after a while, the computer freezes and resets the settings.
