Question about AMD drivers.

Hey guys probably a stupid question but I’m giving my Rx 6600 to my Dad for his build as a late Father’s Day gift and switching it out with a 7600 due to psu limitations and I only have 1080p. Wondering if I can just plug and play the 7600 and download new drivers or uninstall the old to be safe. Not sure what program to use to uninstall or how as I have never had to upgrade the gpu in any of my builds before. Any help would be appreciated.

Uninstall the drivers before removing the 6600, use https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-601

To make it easier for installing the 7600 drivers after the swap, download and save the driver package direct from AMD before doing the above.
