I read that AMD Adrenaline, one year ago or so, was reading some files in Epic Games launcher (spyware, malware) and that changing a folder name would stop the adrenaline crashes. Afaik, I never was cursed with such spyware, but in fact, I did have Epic Online Services (rootkit). So I uninstalled it immediately. Not trusting their uninstaller, I made my way to the appdata\local folder and found that it really did not uninstall it (typical virus behavior). So I deleted it. Then I reinstalled AMD Adrenaline after using the AMD Removal Tool. and now it works. Why is this software interfacing with known malicious software?
