I have a 1080p monitor and I usually play at 1440p resolution using DSR on my old RTX 2060. After switching to RX 6800 and using VSR, I kept on getting "Default performance tuning settings have been restored due to an unexpected system failure". This only happens when VSR is enabled and while using higher resolution than 1080p.
For example: (Steps made for error to popup)
1. Enable VSR and switch to 1440p or any resolution higher than the native resolution
2. Play Red Dead Redemption 2
3. Change game resolution to 1440p or higher.
4. Play the game or close the game immediately.
5. Error pops up (Default performance tuning settings have been restored due to an unexpected system failure) even though I'm not overclocking my GPU.
It's annoying since I like to play using DSR/VSR to make the graphics more detailed and less blurry. I have been reporting to AMD report tool for about 2 months now and still issue haven't been fixed after 2 driver updates.
