New RX580. Drivers constantly crashing preventing any reasonable use of the PC

Hello,

A few days ago I've received my new desktop PC with the following setup:

AMD Ryzen 5 3500X (6x 3.6GHz / 4.1GHz Turbo)
be quiet! Pure Loop 120mm
ASRock B450M PRO4
RAM 16GB (2x8GB) Patriot DDR4 3200MHz Viper Blackout
SSD 480GB Patriot Burst (560MB/s - 540MB/s)
8GB XFX RX580 GTS XXX
600W be quiet! System Power 9

I've installed the latest version of Windows 64bit. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the drivers for the graphic card to work at all. What happens is, after I install the recommended driver (Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.11.2) and try opening the AMD Radeon Software, I get like 5s, then the red/green/blue diagonally pixelated screen, then black screen, and 5 times out of 10 windows crashes with it. Widows reports a problem with the graphic drivers. The crashes also happen randomly doing simple stuff on the PC, when using the browser, clicking on a picture or on startup. Here is the link to the video footage of my problem

What I've tried so far is reinstalling Windows and reinstalling the drivers (multiple times). I'm not a very computer savvy person, so I don't know what else I could try. Is this a user error or do I need to think of returning this already? Any sort of help would be appreciated.

Solved: it was a defect card.
