Hello, I want to talk about the problem that I am facing, and that many are facing as well, which is that the game Marvel's Spider-Man 2 crashes at the start screen. This is because the graphics card has not been updated to the latest version, which is 25.1.1, but it is not available on the Rx 580. It is sad to see that cards older than The Rx 580 from Nvidia received an update and works without problems, so I really hope that AMD resolves this matter.

The problem we face is due to Nixxes because it makes the game seem to support only DirectX 12.1, which is not supported in old AMD cards that support version 12.0.
This is due to the way the Nixxes team worked on the game. If you want an example of this, there is a game called Forspoken that had exactly the same problem. The company solved the problem and now it works with the RX 580 without problems (you can search more about this topic in the Steam community).

What does this mean?
This means that the Nixxes team can solve this problem, but they are lazy and do not want to work hard, and this is their first downfall. The team that always impressed us with its abilities is now just a disappointment.

The solution now is to spread the problem everywhere on Nixxes accounts, communicate with support, and talk about the problem we are facing, mentioning the old Nvidia cards that are able to run the game without problems. Perhaps after putting pressure on them, they will solve this problem. I hope everyone will participate because it is our only hope.

Ahmed but still I managed to open the game and the game had artifacts and no Venom rendered in the first scene for RX 580 8 GB shortly after the cutscene the game crashed for now its the drivers fault.

It might be able to squeeze out minimum settings at 720p. You could always refund it if isn't to your liking but 720p 30fps would probably be the most you can expect.

While the Radeon RX 580 might or could work, according to Sony, it did not meet their requirements for a pleasant gaming experience.

I think there's still hope, looking back driver 24.7.1 wasnt available for polaris cards yet 24.9.1 was available, i think amd is just sloppy with old cards. i wont replace my beloved rx570
