Greetings. When the drivers for my RX 550 aren't installed and Windows detects it as basic graphics, the graphics card still provides video. However, when I install the original AMD drivers, it only stops providing video when Windows loads. It works in the BIOS and on other operating systems.
I've already formatted the PC and reinstalled the drivers. I've changed the HDMI cable, and it still doesn't work. Is there a solution?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I've already managed to solve it, I just had to buy a new Display Port - HDMI cable, which was weird, but it worked.
Press <win key+P> when in windows, many times slowly.
Check monitor input setting.
Connect your TV to check.
If the graphics card works fine in BIOS but you get "no signal" once it loads Windows then the driver is likely using a resolution or refresh rate that the monitor doesn't support.
What display driver is Windows using for the monitor? Does the monitor support PnP detection from Windows?
Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 display driver
Ok, so you have an IGP in the Intel processor, and a separate RX 550 graphics card.
After you install the drivers for the RX 550 and reboot, are you moving the display cable from the motherboard to the card?
yes
