load driver

I am running Fedora FC38.  I have 2 monitors connected to a RX 580 Pro.  When I boot up the monitors will only duplicate.  Before I upgraded to FC38, I could extend the monitors.  After much searching it appears that the proper driver is not getting loaded.  The output of different commands indicates that the driver is "N/A".  I have tried to reinstall the drivers but nothing happens.   I know the hardware is good because I have a Fedora 38 live dvd.  I booted it and the displays work as expected - extended.  How do I force load the proper drivers?

I am not sure how I fixed this.  I added a modprobe authorizing the smdgpu driver.  I added a modprobe file to blacklist radeon.  In the bios, I disabled Thunderbolt.

I don't know which one or maybe all fixed my problem.

This can be closed as fixed.
