Hi,
Is there anyone here can recommend an application or way how to fix video can't be played because of the power interruption when recording using AMD Software?
Scenario: Let's say you started recording your game/screen without a UPS and played for an hour then suddenly its start raining in your area and power outage occur. Typically, you'll verify your recording to see if it's okay in C:\Radeon\GameFolder and you found the file outside of the game folder, when you tried playing this file is doesn't work.
I've tried using these applications to open the file, but It doesn't work:
APPLICATION | RESULT |
VLC | no error it just didn't play |
Media Player | We can't open 2023.05.22-13.08.mp4. This may be because the file type is unsupported, the file extension is incorrect, or the file is corrupt. 0xC00D36C4 |
Movies & TV | Can't play : This file isn't playable. That might be because the file type is unsupported, the file extension is incorrect, or the file is corrupt. 0xC00D36c4 |
MKVToolNix | The file '2023.05.22-13.08.mp4' was not recognized as supported format (exit code:2) |
I also tried video repair tools, but it didn't work and always stuck:
- Wondershare Repairit
- VLC Media Player
- Stellar Video Repair
- Remo Repair MOV
- EaseUS RepairVideo
