Fan goes up to 100% since AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 24.12.1 update

Computer Type: Desktop

GPU: GIGABYTE RX 6600 XT 8GB

CPU: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz

Motherboard: Z370 GAMING PLUS (MS-7B61)

Operating System & Version: Microsoft Windows 11 10.0.26100 build 26100

GPU Drivers:AMD Adrenalin Edition 24.12.1

Description of Original Problem:

Since 24.12.1 I have noticed that the fans on my RX 6600 XT randomly goes up to 100% for like 30seconds, then go down, then up again.

Even if GPU usage is well below 50%

This happens with every game I play (Space Marine 2, Hearthstone, Hades2, Red Dead Redemption)

Troubleshooting: I tried to do a clean reinstall of drivers and manually edit the fan curve disabling RPM Zero, but seems like it gets ignored and fan stil goes to max speed like

I tried to also re-enable RPM zero and it is the same

Any help is very appreciated

Is your Gigabyte card the "Gaming OC" version?

Have you contacted Gigabyte support?

Are you using the Gigabyte Control Center utility to control fan speed?
