Installer stops with error saying "Component Installed")- Radeon Pro Duo Polaris 32GB

Describe your system:

  • RAMD Graphics Card
    • Radeon Pro Duo 32GB Polaris
  • Desktop or Laptop System
    • Desktop
  • Operating System
    • Windows 10 Pro 64bit
  • Driver version installed
    • None (This is the whole problem. Installer stops with error saying "Component Installed")
  • Display Devices
    • Acer XG270HU, DP 1.2 to DP 1.2, 1440x2560p 144Hz 1ms Freesync
    • Acer XG270HU, DP 1.2 to DP 1.2, 1440x2560p 144Hz 1ms Freesync
  • Motherboard + Bios Revision
    • EVGA Z97 Classified BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. 4.6.5, 10/9/2014
    • SMBIOS Ver 2.8
  • CPU/APU
    • Intel i5 4690K
  • Power Supply Unit  Make, Model & Wattage
    • EVGA SuperNova Gold 850W G2
  • RAM
    • 32GB 1866Hz

Describe your issue:

  • I've used AMD Clean Uninstall Utility and then use AMD Driver Autodetect to correct it, no dice.
  • I get a "Component Already Installed" on AMD Installer when trying to autodetect and install drivers on my new GPU
  • 1440p 144Hz 1ms, and all other resolutions/ frequencies
  • I don't believe that you need a video to comprehend the issue.
