How do you enable AMD Smart Access Video?

Smart Access Memory is enabled.

It says Radeon 6000 or higher so i am good there, but i cannot turn it on in adrenaline, says unsupported.

Is there a BIOS setting i have to change or something?

Appears it requires a pre-built (OEM) "Advantage" branded laptop or system, and/or registration with AMD for developer enablement. See footnotes:

GD-216: AMD smart technologies, including AMD SmartAccess Graphics, SmartAcess Storage, SmartAccess Video, SmartShift Eco, SmartShift Max, and SmartShift RSR may require OEM or developer enablement and are available with select configurations only.

It would appear to require at least GCN 5th Gen integrated graphics while being an AMD 5000 series processor. That would mean the SKU is required to contain the suffix of "G" OR be equipped with any form of "Vega" iGPU. However, you should check your CPU technical specs on a trusted website, like TechPowerUp. It also appears that there is no limitations to using SmartAccess Video as long as you possess both an iGPU and a supported dedicated GPU. To answer your question, it SHOULD work with all AMD CPUs with integrated graphics above the 5000 series (granted you have either a 6000 series or 7000 series dedicated graphics card.

I think it requires an iGPU as well.

The Hell?

That makes no sense.

My PC is all AMD
Except the labor and choice of parts combined.

I don't need some other idiot assembling my PC

Why even advertise features, and then say Nope you can't have, cause we didn't turn the screwdriver?

Finding this out now is a blessing honestly, will no longer purchase anything with an AMD logo on it, at least they didn't just hide the marketing scandal I guess.

it not make sense,  since it's not true but you do need a IGPU on your CPU you do need to have it enable so any am5 cpu work can't say if am4 work but if you do have a 5000G cpu you are welcome to try . only software i can find that work with this technology is Davinci resolve for now if you do find some other you are welcome to tell me for me to try it out.

this is inaccurate I build my system with part from all over and i have it enable you do need a AM5 CPU with integrated graphic and 7000 GPU and your IGPU need to be enable on BIOS.

my system is a 7900xtx reddevil asus x670e hero MOBO and 7950x3D CPU

WRONG!

The requirements are a Ryzen CPU (with integrated Radeon graphics) and a discrete Radeon GPU 6000 series or higher.  The iGPU must be set to activate in BIOS.  With both GPUs active, Smart Access Video becomes available. For the rest of the features, I'm pretty sure those are for laptops with AMD CPU/GPU.Active!Active!

Ryzen R7 5900X | ASUSROG STRIX B550-F GAMING | 4x16 TEAMGROUP DDR4 3200 | ASrock Radeon 6900 XT Phantom Gaming

Thanks for confirming that the SmartAccess Video feature is available without the purchase of a pre-built "Advantage" branded system. The AMD documentation on this topic is unclear, and to be honest somewhat deceiving.

Can you provide further clarification as to type of integrated Radeon graphics needed to support SmartAccess Video? Is there a particular processor series (5000, 8000, etc.) or integrated graphics family (Vega, Navi, etc.) limitation, or will any Radeon integrated graphics work?

I can confirm this also happens with my 7950x3d and my 7900xt. Totally works. OP must have had a CPU with no iGPU.

No, don't have an iGPU
Usually either pick the CPU without, or disable them in BIOS

This is why SmartAccess Video won't work. It requires an AMD iGPU to be enabled in tandem (at the same time as the dedicated Radeon GPU). There should be no performance or latency penalty to keeping the iGPU on, so feel free to enable it again if you have a CPU with an iGPU. You should look it up on a search engine like Google to see if your CPU has it or not. Thank you for the response though, I appreciate your cooperation. Also, do you know how to change the highlighted solution? The solution to this post is just straight up incorrect, as you know. Thanks, much love.

Some things i use just get massively confused over seeing multiple GPU's.
But i usually dont get the iGPU models anyways as the non iGPU model of same series is generally faster, which makes perfect sense, if you shove a GPU in the same die you have to make some trade offs
