- Horizontal screen tearing during fast-moving scenes when playing videos from browser or local desktop video players (VLC, MPC-HC, etc.)
- VLC 2.2.8 Weatherwax; Google Chrome Version 63.0.3239.132 (Official Build) (64-bit) via Netflix; MPC-HC (64-bit) Version 1.7.13 (e37826845)
- Fullscreen and windowed
- Sample scene from Netflix: One Punch Man Season 1, Episode 3: The Obessive Scientist; 17:25-17:30
Troubleshooting steps taken:
- Reinstalling latest AMD drivers & rebooting system
- Installing RadeonPRO software and forcing VSync on VLC profile and alternatively on global
- Card is not compatible with Enhanced Sync / FreeSync
