High idle power when using select 4k@144Hz and 2k@144Hz

Hello, I still have a high idle power issue when using the select 4k@144Hz FreeSync-enabled display. I have Samsung Odyssey G7  and it's paired with an  LG 27GN800-B. But still have over 100W board power draw when they are both configured to 144hz.

When I change the refresh rate to 120hz and 60hz it drops to almost below 60W board power draw. My current Adrenaline version is 23.7.1 and GPU is AMD Radeon 7900XTX. Is this normal or do I have to change something in the Adrenaline settings?

Yep - same as me. What's disconcerting is that the high power draw at idle issue is no longer being carried as an issue in their release bulletin. They just sorta said we improved it and we're done. Not the way to treat customers who've purchased their premier card for $1k!
