According to BIOSTAR website showing how to set up a 12 GPU Mining rig using a BIOSTAR Motherboard,  You can use 12 AMD GPU Cards and 8 Nvidia GPU Cards maximum: https://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/event/crypto_mining/page4_2.htm
