I have a gpd win max with an rx 6750 xt egpu.
I am planning to buy a GPD win max 2 with usb 4.
i will use my current egpu with my new laptop but /gpd says there is an issue with USB4 and RT 6000 series :
There is a compatibility problem between the AMD Radeon RX 6000 series graphics card and USB4, but it is not a USB4 problem. It is likely that the AMD Radeon RX 6000 graphics card has a compatibility problem with the Thunderbolt 3 protocol, because USB4 supports the Thunderbolt 3 protocol.
So about eGPU, we advise Razer series Thunderbolt 3 eGPU, and NVIDIA RTX 1000, 2000, 3000 series graphics card. But AMD Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards are not recommended.
do you plan to fix this problem ?
