Getting Driver installation error. New to Gaming Computer Builds. Need help
Built a New Gaming Computer
Please excuse me for being Novice and this is my first build and I am kinda not happy that it's having issues...
- Tomahawk B550 mother board , (1 Tb SSD, AMD Ryzen 9 5900x 12 core processor with Cooling fans).
- Radeon RX 6600 XT 8g graphics card inserted in (PCI_E1,Gen 4),
- M.2_1 has the 1 TB SSD
- A2, B2 Slots have DDR4 Ram
- Mother board BIOS Settings for the Graphics Card: PCI_E1 Gen Switch (tried as Auto, Gen4)
While installing the Windows 10 Disk image, system is throwing error for the Graphics driver. I am out of ideas to debug the issue...
Following Graphics drivers were tried from the WebSite
Driver: Radeon Adrenalin 2020-21.10-2 Win10-Win11 64 Bit Oct 25
Driver: Radeon Adrenalin 2020-21.12.1 Win10-Win11 64 Bit Dec3
Any help is highly appreciated..

Is this a Windows 10 'N' version, or maybe Dev/Insider preview build ?
Also do not install graphics driver until after the OS has been installed and restarted on the built in basic display driver.
And do not try to install driver from device manager, use the downloaded and saved pkg...

Thanks for the follow up. So looks like my issue was resolved after I used MS media creation tool and asked it to create a bootable thumb drive. Earlier when I created the bootable thumb drive using Create Windows 10 Installation media option, looks like that option requires a Display Driver during installation which was causing error.
After I used Windows Media Creation Tool (for Win 10) I was able to install that OS on my newly built PC without the need for the driver (Radeon RX 6600 XT) at the time of the install. The installation of the OS is successful. I plan to install the RX 6600 XT driver from the AMD's website to night.. I will update you guys how that goes. I anticipate no issues doing this way but let's see what happens...
