Freesync Support: Acer Nitro XV273K 144hz mode (dual Displayport required)

I recently acquired the new Acer Nitro XV273K display which supports up to 4k@120Hz@8bit (full chroma) and FreeSync using one DisplayPort cable but when connecting two DisplayPort cables you can actually use the display at 4k@144hz@10bit (full chroma) but you will lose FreeSync support.

Are there any plans already for FreeSync to support multi-connection displays in the future?

it really is! been waiting for something like this for 2 years

figured I'd buy this now and live with 4k@120Hz@8bit rather than wait even longer for displayport 1.5 since 4k@120hz was the main thing I was looking for in a new monitor

hopefully though AMD will support dual connections freesync in the future to unlock the full potential of this beast (and future incarnations) to have another feature thats missing from GSYNC

120fps at 4k is pretty hard . What about 98hz with 10bit

I am pretty sure AMD will eventually support it over duel DP cables.
