Hello,
my PC:
CPU - Ryzen 7 5800x3D
MB - Asus ROG Strix X570-E, latest BIOS 4602
Video card - Asrock PG OC 7900XTX
Monitor - Gaming ASUS TUF 27", VA, Curved, WQHD, 165Hz, 1ms, Displayport, FreeSync
RAM - 4x 8GB Patriot ViperSteel 4000@3733 - 16-16-16-32@1.37V
NVME Windows Drive - Samsung 980PRO 1TB
Windows 11 22H2 - build 22621.1555
PSU - 1000W Asus
My monitor flickering on edges, left and right side of monitor, when Freesync Premium Pro is enabled with latest driver versions 23.8.1 and 23.8.2. If I stop freesync, flickering disappeared. There is no problem with 23.7.1. At first I think is my monitor, but after that, there is no problem with older driver, I think is something new on AMD side.
Flickering is on game, video play or just desktop of windows.
23.9.1 still have issue
Same here, 23.9.1 with latest Windows updates.
I recommend updating your version of windows. The latest build is 22621.2215 and your running 22621.1555
Hello windows is latest version, I copy system settings from older post and now I can't edit it.
Heya,
after some research I found that my problem is FreeSync Premium Pro Brightness Flickering. From what I read, that can try to change freesync range with CRU software - https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU, like 60-165Hz, because lower from 60Hz can cause issue.. Also read, that to inform AMD from support page about monitor model and problem here: https://www.amd.com/en/forms/contact-us/support.html. Info is from older threat https://community.amd.com/t5/graphics/freesync-flicker/td-p/329439.
Still no solution ?
nope, I got standart response from AMD support to reset BIOS, reseat video card and use AMD cleanUP utility to remove any driver leftover and reinstall latest driver. Nothing fix issue.
