I see similar problems but no proper solution that I saw. I would be happy to run some diagnostic program and help out a little.
The complete error reads something like this:
" Failed to create OpenGL context for format
QSurfaceFormat(version 2.0, options
QFlags<QSurfaceFormat::FormatOption>0, depthBufferSize
24, redBufferSize
-1, greenBufferSize -1, blueBufferSize -1,
alphaBufferSize -1, stencilBufferSize 8, samples -1,
swapBehavior QSurfaceFormat::DoubleBuffer, swaplnterval 1,
colorSpace QSurfaceFormat::DefaultColorSpace, profile
SurfaceFormat::NoProfile)
This is most likely caused by not having the necessary
graphics drivers installed.
HE
Install a driver providing OpenGL 2.0 or higher, or, if this is
not possible, make sure the ANGLE Open GL ES 2.0 emulation
libraries (libEGL.dll, libGLESv2.dll and d3dcompiler_*.din are
available in the application executable's directory or in a
location listed in PATH. "
Thanks,
Hans
I believe you are the 3rd person with a Professional GPU card to open a thread with that error.
@fsadough, AMD Moderator and expert on Professional GPU card might be able to assist you with your problem.
Hello,
I have exactly the same message on a fresh installation of windows 10 (after a crash...).
1. Win 10 21H1 build 19043.1288
2. https://drivers.amd.com/drivers/prographics/win10-radeon-pro-software-21.q2-june18.exe
3. Graphic card is installed in a DELL precision
4. Two displays are connected to the card.
It remains in my head a similiar message appearing years ago. But I lost the solution
Ok I find a solution.
Everything seems to be well installed. Not I need to tests it under load.
Thank you so so much this worked for me and now I can play games that wouldn't work without the updated drivers. I could literally give you a kiss on the forehead but not the lips with how joyful I am now. Thank you so much.
